Der größte alle Superhelden im Disney-Universum feiert Geburtstag – und das zunächst auf recht spektakuläre Art, wie die Titelgeschichte zu erzählen weiß. Ein Zurück in die Zukunft ähnliches Epos, bei dem man Zeuge wird der allerersten Geschichte des Helden (Die Verwandlung) und wie dies alles auch hätte enden können. Die Story springt in den Zeiten hin und her und verknüpft Vergangenheit und Gegenwart auf spektakuläre Art und Weise. Ein wahrer Geburtstagsstrauß an Unterhaltung. Doch dann zieht sich der Held leider zurück, und die anderen Geschichten im Buch können hier nur ansatzweise mithalten. Es ist zwar das allgemeine Potpourri guter LTB-Bände; aber eben kein großes Geburtstagshallo. Leider hat man es hier versäumt, wie beim genialen LTB zu Donalds 85. Geburtstag, ein reines Phantomias-Album zu kreieren und den roten Faden beizubehalten. Fazit: Guter Opener, klassischer Rest.
Nicht schlecht aber die große Spannung gibt es nicht halt ein typisches lustiges Taschenbuch etwas über den Mittelmaß für Fans aber ein muss
